- It is obvious that one will always say his card is the best. In terms of sound
- quality, the Turtle Beach Multisound is the best one. In the second place, I
- would put the PAS-16. Third is the Gravis Ultrasound due to its "flaws."
- Last, and I mean by far last, is the Microsoft card. This card is the worse
- thing I have ever seen. It doesn't have anything, it doesn't emulate any
- other cards. What can I say, a typical Microsoft product.
-
- 1) TB Multisound (if you want to play games, forget it)
- 2) PAS-16 (SCSI and it DOES sound VERY GOOD despite some critics)
- 3) Gravis Ultrasound (For a little more I would get the PAS but the GUS is
- also a very good card)
- 4) Sound Blaster Pro (Very popular and supported)
- 1000000000) Microsoft Card (This is a complete waste of space in your case)
-
- There are other cards that I didn't mention but this is my list...
