  11. Atari has changed TOS development compilers to Lattice C and they are 
  12. currently busy rewriting TOS for compilation with Lattice C.  Also, the 
  13. latest PC GEM version actually has LESS features than GEMTOS.  There's no 
  14. lawsuit keeping Atari from updating GEM in their machines and they've bought 
  15. the right to make unlimited copies of GEM from DRI/Novell, so Atari can do 
  16. whatever the hell they want with GEM on their machines, pretty much.
