- Greetings... There has been some anouncements/discussions in past about
- CDRoms available with various collections of data/programs/pictures
- whatever. Unfortunately I didn't save that information away at that time
- and have now aquired a CD Rom drive for my A3000.
-
- If some kind sole could post (or mail if you're lucky enough to get it
- through to me) the titles and sources (even prices?) of such CDs.
-
- I remember something about a wuarchive (sp?) compilation of freely
- redistributable Amiga stuff on a CD.. Where can I can it? How?
-
- Anything else would be of great help.. (A CD of Gifs or jpegs would be
- great!)
-
- Also any recomendations of commercial CDs for the Amiga/CDTV would be
- great! I'm running the Xetec CDx software with CDTV emulation on a Toshiba
- 3301. (love it!) I've seen a few CDTV disks and am not to impressed. I'm
- looking for something that really makes use of the technology and not just
- a port of a floppy based game. I hear that Defender of the Crown II is
- coming out soon and that it uses the CDRom to its advantage.. is there
- anything else that you've seen or tried that impressed you as being truly a
- result of the CDRom technology enhancing the machine?
-
- Thanks in advance
- Stan
