- As in the author defines points in the Object Editor, then AV Professional
- moves an object from point to point. You can create simple linear or complex
- curved paths. You can specify that an object "bounce" along its path or
- "loop" through it.
-
- There is no direct support for accelerating an object along a path, but with
- a little creative thinking, it can be done. If path points are very close
- together, it looks as though the object is moving slowly, if path points are
- farther apart, the object moves faster. So you can vary the closeness of
- path points to make the object look as if it were speeding up or slowing
- down. You can also specify the speed at which an object moves along a path
- (and by changing that speed during runtime, you can create acceleration).
-
- Because path points are simply X/Y co-ordinates, you can also store them in
- an array and then mathematically create or modify a path during runtime.

- As with animations, AV only supports playing an ANIM Brush forward.

- Yes.
-

-
- All of our old transitions work with the new AA graphics, but about half of
- the new ones....well, I won't say that they don't work, but when you run
- them, the output looks "interesting" to say the least. :-)

-
- No.
- Not directly.
- Yes, full support.
- The same drivers as in AV1.7.
- Not in this version.
