- Hmm. To check whether you are hitting a tar problem, or something else,
- just bypass tar for a bit. Copy some data to the tape in Unix like
- this:

- cat myfile > /dev/rst0

- Then see if you can copy it off under AmigaDos via:

- If you can do that OK, then you have a tar problem. If you can't,
- something else is going on, but at least you'll know where to look
- further.
