  17.     Why not?  I put a MMUed 030 on my VXL, which also ships with the
  18. EC as standard. They are pin for pin compatible, you may have to reset a
  19. few jumpers on the GVP, but it shouldn't cause any problems, all you are
  20. doing is giving yourself an MMU.
  21.     I'm not sure but I do believe the GVP uses hardware/software for
  22. mapping the KickStart ROMs into 32 bit memory, which is done by the MMU on
  23. an RC030, but there maybe a jumper setting for disabling that function on
  24. your GVP or a software setting to do the same thing.
  25.     I use CPU FASTROM to do it on the VXL, which uses the MMU to map
  26. the KICKROM. I've seen no problems that I can attribute to the MMUed 030 as
  27. of yet.
