  12.     I know this is going to _sound_ ugly... but try it out.  It
  13.     actually looks fine, and seems to reduce the flicker the most.

  15.     I set my background to a tan color (something like 10,9,8 I think)
  16.     and the text to brown (something like 6,5,4).  This really
  17.     worked well for me.... and I tried a LOT of color combos... but
  18.     sticking with the brown -> tan should improve things alot!
