- } A friend who works for Waldensoftware told me an Electronic Arts rep was
- } in his store a few days ago, and said that EA is dropping Amiga game
- } support. DPaint4.5 is in the works, but games are toast.
-
- Hmm... must be some sort of fraud, or my eyes need checking. I could have
- *sworn* that I received a couple of brochures from EA last week...
-
- One was a "Buy 2, get 1 free" offer (and a list of games to which the offer
- applied). The other was a list of upcoming new released being distributed by
- EA in Australia. While the PC list was worryingly larger than the Amiga list,
- there were a number of notable titles listed as coming up for the Amiga...
- including Star Trek (25th Anniversary). Only Prophecy of the Shadow was listed
- in the Amiga releases for SSI, however :-(.
-
- Of course, this might just be another angle on the "many faces of EA" angle.
