  12. Here is a question on SCSI device implementation.  Please note that it has
  13. nothing to do with SCSI host adaptors (the card) or the SCSI bus (the cable
  14. connections).  If you go into a store and buy a SCSI device, will it have local
  15. DMA capabilities?  I.e., is it safe to assume that the device will have a 32K
  16. or larger transfer buffer that is accessed via local DMA with the SCSI control
  17. logic?  I can imagine a SCSI device could be developed that would not use local
  18. DMA, but does any company do it?
