  15.   When I run a 19.2Kbps modem on my VAXstation-2000's modem port, I
  16. start to have strange problems.  Everything will work fine for a while,
  17. but eventually the mouse will start generating spurious button press
  18. events and the keyboard will start autorepeating random characters.

  20.   I suspect that the serial line mux in the 2000 is being confused
  21. somehow.  THe machine passes all the diagnostics, including those
  22. for the DZ, w/o problems.

  24.   I never have these problems if I run the modem at 9.6Kbps.

  26.   The modem line is set to the alternate type ahead buffer, and that
  27. is SYSGENed to 10K bytes.
