  15. I plan to write a client/server application which is supposed to be portable
  16. across various platforms. I know that there are socket libraries for many
  17. operating systems (OS/2, DOS, Unix etc.).

  19. Now for my question: Is there a socket library for VAX/VMS as well ?

  21. Does the POSIX standard include the socket lib ?
