I am trying to get my printer to work under MS Windows 3.1
and have only been able to get "normal ASCII".   I have a
Star Micronics Geimini 10X which has similar command sequences
to an Epson MX-80.  I can print to the Generic device and get
the default 9-pin characters.  I have tried the Star drivers
available on the mirrors3/win3 directory on wustl, but they
don't work any better than the MX-80 driver I tried first.
The problem comes when trying to print in graphics mode.
I get a line of dots, then a blank line, then a line of dots,
etc. where there appears to be horizontal striping of
space on the printout.  The dots that are printed look fine
except that the printed page is sliced horizontally.
Anyone out there have any ideas about what might
be wrong with the setup?
