- I am trying to get my printer to work under MS Windows 3.1
- and have only been able to get "normal ASCII". I have a
- Star Micronics Geimini 10X which has similar command sequences
- to an Epson MX-80. I can print to the Generic device and get
- the default 9-pin characters. I have tried the Star drivers
- available on the mirrors3/win3 directory on wustl, but they
- don't work any better than the MX-80 driver I tried first.
- The problem comes when trying to print in graphics mode.
- I get a line of dots, then a blank line, then a line of dots,
- etc. where there appears to be horizontal striping of
- space on the printout. The dots that are printed look fine
- except that the printed page is sliced horizontally.
- Anyone out there have any ideas about what might
- be wrong with the setup?
