- As long as you don't want to run Windows "across" the net all you have
- to do is run Windows Setup (main group). In the network section it lists
- several Netware versions, pick the one that fits. This will get Windows
- to recognize your network. I don't run Novell so I don't know what you
- will have to do to your apps to make them work. Shouldn't be to much
- though.
-
- The SETUP/N allows you to have all (most) of your Windows files on the
- server and run Windows from the server instead of from the workstation.
- This saves a lot of disk space but increases the load on your network.
- If you want to run Windows from the server you might want to check out
- WinLogin from MS. It keeps a database of win.ini files on the server for
- each user. So that each time they log on (from any workstation) they
- will get their colors, groups, etc. If some of their groups are for apps
- that are on a workstation, those apps won't be available obviously. But
- server apps will be.
