- I'm having a possible conflict between Windows 3.1 and SoundBlaster.
- Sometimes when I turn on the computer and Windows is half way through booting
- up a constant " electrical " sounding hum occurs and, I close out of Windows
- and reset the computer to stop the noise. The second time Windows starts it
- never reoccurs. This happens about one in eight times I start the computer.
- If it's a hardware conflict why doesn't it happen all the time? I have a 286,
- game card, com. card and the SoundBlaster card installed.
-
- Thanks for any help,
- Wilf Meier
