  11. I swore this worked on Friday, and now it doesn't:

  13. I have created a recorder macro that does the following:
  14. Alt-Spacebar
  15. E K             (edit, mark)
  16. Down, Down        (move to third line)
  17. Right, ShiftDown, 12 Rights, Shift Up, Enter
  18.  
  19. This is designed to copy a region of the screen of a DOS application
  20. (Paradox-based database) to the clipboard.
  21.  
  22. On Friday, Control-Alt-C would activate the macro, even when the Recorder was
  23. iconized.  Today, it will only work if I click on or otherwise select the
  24. iconized Recorder.
  25.  
  26. Any clues?  This is a royal pain.
  27. I've checked with other macros, with other DOS apps (including MS-DOS Prompt)
  28. and I have the same problems, so it's neither Paradox nor the key sequence.

  30. Shouldn't I be able to do this?  Microsoft hedges.  They say I _ought_ to, but
  31. Recorder "isn't supported for non-Windows applications."
