- I swore this worked on Friday, and now it doesn't:
-
- I have created a recorder macro that does the following:
- Alt-Spacebar
- E K (edit, mark)
- Down, Down (move to third line)
- Right, ShiftDown, 12 Rights, Shift Up, Enter
-
- This is designed to copy a region of the screen of a DOS application
- (Paradox-based database) to the clipboard.
-
- On Friday, Control-Alt-C would activate the macro, even when the Recorder was
- iconized. Today, it will only work if I click on or otherwise select the
- iconized Recorder.
-
- Any clues? This is a royal pain.
- I've checked with other macros, with other DOS apps (including MS-DOS Prompt)
- and I have the same problems, so it's neither Paradox nor the key sequence.
-
- Shouldn't I be able to do this? Microsoft hedges. They say I _ought_ to, but
- Recorder "isn't supported for non-Windows applications."
-
- Please email to me, I don't read this constantly, and I could use the answer
- ASAP.
