- Tried to install QEMM 6.02 last night. Got a few hitches (had to
- EXCLUDE that B000 address), but it seemed OK after that (should I put
- the QEMM line at the top of my CONFIG.SYS for optimal performance?).
- The quirk I discovered probably has little to do with QEMM, BUT ...
-
- Upon bringing up Windows 3.1, I get a Can't Read Drive C: Error. I
- have encountered this before, so I cancelled and I got a Windows/NDW
- setup that is outdated. The Items and Groups I made since the time I
- Saved this particular Configuration screen are gone, including my
- Microsoft Solutions Series Group and the Microsoft Money Item, as well
- as many DOS items and Groups. Even the applets from the book Windows
- 3.1 Secrets don't seem to be installed in Windows. They are on the
- HD, but no icons, no groups, no nothing.
-
- Questions (most seem naive):
-
- How do I get these groups back up in Windows (*.grp)?
-
- Is there a file that stored the Save Configuration data under NDW 2.0?
-
- How do I get those items I worked soooooo hard to set up back in
- Windows/NDW?
-
- me so confused ...
