  13. I am trying to use a HP thinkjet printer model 2225AB with windows 3.1.
  14. This printer has an IEEE interface which I have connected via a RS232/IEEE
  15. converter to COM1. It prints text (ie from the notepad application) perfectly 
  16. however it will not print from Word or Paint, I assume that there is problem
  17. with trying to make it print in graphics mode. All it produce on the paper
  18. is random characters when I try it.

  20. Anyone any ideas what the problem can be and how (or if) I can solve it?
  21. The Windows printer driver is for a Thinkjet 2225CD which I believe is a 
  22. serial (?) interface  version of the printer.
