- I am trying to use a HP thinkjet printer model 2225AB with windows 3.1.
- This printer has an IEEE interface which I have connected via a RS232/IEEE
- converter to COM1. It prints text (ie from the notepad application) perfectly
- however it will not print from Word or Paint, I assume that there is problem
- with trying to make it print in graphics mode. All it produce on the paper
- is random characters when I try it.
-
- Anyone any ideas what the problem can be and how (or if) I can solve it?
- The Windows printer driver is for a Thinkjet 2225CD which I believe is a
- serial (?) interface version of the printer.
-
- Thanks in advance
