  12. I tried to install Norton Desktop on my computer 
  13. I have stacker.  I chose it as my default shell, but now when it loads up,
  14. not only does it take a *lot* of time, it stops in the middle (after
  15. loading up quick access and Norton Desktop) and says, "NDWMAIN caused a
  16. General Protection Fault in module NWIN2.DLL at 001D:1E2A"

  18. I have a Dell 386sx/16 with 2Mg Ram and 40 Mg Hard drive (about 13.2 left after
  19. installing stacker and Norton Desktop).  I already tried disabling Norton
  20. antivirus (I normally run CPAV, but I rem'ed that, too).  I also got the error
  21. "c:\ndw\nav&.sys  bad or missing file  Error in line 1 of Config.sys) so I
  22. removed this line from my config.sys and updated it for Stacker.  I rebooted,
  23. the error message was gone, but when I tried to load windows, the same message
  24. appeared.

  26. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?  I okay'ed everything in the
  27. Norton Desktop Installation...
