- Subject: Q: How to put arbitrary file on print queue?
- Lines: 27
-
- Hello,
- I would like to know if there exists shareware that would allow
- me to put an arbitrary file on the print queue. Often, I wish
- to print files that have embedded control sequences from other
- programs. Since the files are sometimes long and take a long time
- to print, I'd rather put them on window's queue.
-
- Dragging file to the print manager from the file manager is not
- an option: The file must be associated with an application. I can't
- find an application that will pass a file throught without changing
- it and formatting it.
-
- Printing in a dos window is not an option: when the printer's buffer
- is full, the dos app will halt all cpu function until the printer
- starts taking data again.
-
- I've tried WPrint and LP, and they do not do what I need.
-
- Please reply to korte@sabine.psu.edu if possible.
-
- Thank you,
