- This seems like the place to ask this question. I am interested in reading
- and writing directly on a QIC-80 tape. I called Colorado Jumbo people and
- they basically said it wasn't possible. It is hard for me to believe. So I
- turn to you. Is there a driver out there which will allow me to access the
- tape as a tape drive. The objective is to read and write huge datasets directly
- to the tape without having to write them first to hard drive and then backing
- them up. Somebody must have solved the problem.
-
- Thanks in advance.
