- Does anyone have any experience running the new version of PC Tools
- under DR DOS? I have run into some nasty compatibility problems
- running an *old* (version 5.0, I think) version of PC Tools under
- DR DOS 6 with SuperStor compressed drives. In particular
-
- The disk usage reports, and the unfragmenter are useless because
- they confuse the estimated (compressed) disk space figure
- for the real one;
-
- The backup program does not seem to function reliably--it appears
- to save the files okay but restores are dicey with lots of lost
- files and intermittent inability to recognize the directory info.
-
- Will I run into these same problems under PC Tools 8.0?
-
- Thanks for any help you can give. Please e-mail replies to:
