- Yes and No.
- At Unix Expo, we had technology demonstrations of DOS and AIX (OSF/1) running
- separately on Mach. No OS/2. DOS was running a flight simulator and
- AIX was running X11R5 and Motif 1.2 in monochrome vga mode. Both were
- running on IBM Intel based machines.
- We will publish our decisions to use Mach at some point in time. We looked
- at work done with mach, amoeba, chorus, qnx, osf and OO r&d and selected
- mach.
- This years USENIX workshop in Seattle was about Microkernels et.al. and
- contains good info. on u-kernels.
