  11. Linux comes with source and lots of software.  My system is running kernel

  13. X11R5 static and jump libs, lots of X programs, GNU C++ 2.2.2d, gtroff package,

  15. most of the usual UNIX stuff.  My 62-meg partition has 12 meg free.  If I was
  16.  using a swap
  17. file that would be used too.  If I get around to calculating the space for a
  18.  minimal
  19. system I'll post it.  Seems like the base system is around 15 megs.  That leaves
  20.  out
  21. X and GNU C of course.
