- As to graphics standards to code to, I suggest we stick to those defined
- in the VESA VBE 1.2 Standard. That covers most of the older ones (640x480xn,
- 800x600xn, etc), and prevents a lot of wasted time on weird things nobody
- uses any more except a few die-hards with antiques they don't want to dump
- (like me, on one of my machines :-) ) Windows/Dos Developers Journal did a
- nice rundown on VBE in their October, 1992 issue, if you need a reference.
