- No, it's an important feature.

- MH will obey whatever locking convention you tell it to (see
- mh-tailor(5)). When you run "inc", MH locks the maildrop. This is
- supposed to stop the MTA from adding more messages. Just before MH
- zeroes the maildrop, it checks to make sure the maildrop hasn't
- changed. If it has changed, the maildrop is not zeroed (under the
- assumption that the locking protocol failed for an unknown reason).
