- I can use moog for a while, but then core is dumped, with the message:
-
- pid <no.> (moog) was killed on an unaligned access, at pc 0x402740
- Bus Error (core dumped)
-
- This is what I do:
- Type: moog (defaults to info.anu.edu.au)
- Select: Other Sites Australian Services The AARNet Archive Server
- Index to List of Files puts up Index Search window
-
- enter index words: elm2.4 Press <return>
- produces Index to List of Files Select: a directory to look in
- produces directory listing in
- a new window.Click: Done Button
- Click: Go up a level Button
-
- then usually core is dumped (not always).
-
- Also, the man pages on Moog say all system app-defaults can be overridden by
- individual preferences. Well, I have an app-defaults directory in my login
- directory, with a different rootServer (compared with the system's) but how do
- I get moog to read IT, instead of /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/Moog?
-
- Thanks,
- Margaret
