- I think that, in order to get a mirrored looking surface, you have to map
- your own reflection into the material... So if you wanted to see a reflection
- of the rest of your model in a mirrored surface, you'd have to render your
- drawing from a different vantage point, then map that image into your mirrored
- surface, and then render the model again from your desired viewpoint...
-
- It takes a lot of fiddling around (with this method) to get the perspective
- and color effects you want.
-
- I don't know how you would deal with animation in this respect. I guess you
- would need some sort of raytracing to get an "honest" mirrored effect.
- But what is honest about animation anyway?
