  14.   Hello readers,
  15.     Does anyone know of any books on AutoDESKs 3D STUDIO.
  16.   I'm looking for more examples / etc., and I find the manuals lacking.
  17.   I know of several books written for AutoCAD ie: Inside AutoCAD / 
  18.   Inside AutoLISP / etc. Is there an Inside 3D Studio out there somewhere ?!?
  19.   I've looked in a few local bookstores, but so far nothing...

  21.      I'm pleased with the program (3DS 2.0), however I too am having problems
  22.   generating mirrored surfaces. I've even used the same material CUB100 
  23.   (as found in CUBEDEMO.3DS materials library) and I get no mirror effect.
  24.   WHY... WHY... WHY...  Unfortunately, I don't get enough time on my friends
  25.   machine (486-25) to try many combinations= of materials/properties/etc.
