  16. !!!!!!WARNING TO THOSE USING COMBINET ISDN-ETHERNET BRIDGES!!!!!!

  18. There is a severe problem with Combinet's ISDN bridges.  In the event
  19. that the internal table of 1500 ethernet addresses gets filled up, the
  20. bridge echoes local LAN traffic back onto the LAN.  This can cause
  21. massive problems in a large network.  In fact, the Fermilab network
  22. experienced almost total outage until the problem was traced to the
  23. Combinet bridge.

  25. If your network has more than 1500 ethernet devices, you are
  26. susceptible to this problem. A quick fix is to set the aging time to a
  27. small value (like 60 sec).  Combinet is working on a fix.
