  20. Actually, Peter Honeyman recently put an accoustic coupler onto one at
  21. 35,000 feet and got his modem to connect, albeit at 300 baud.  He got
  22. PPP up and working, but was getting 60 second round trip times from
  23. ICMP echo packets ... I guess they were spending all their time
  24. getting corrected between the modems ... :-)
