  22. Is this really the personal 800 tariff?  I'm using Pac*Bell's personal
  23. 800 service and I'm only paying $5/month and $0.25/minute (billed in
  24. six-second intervals). The service is actually provided by Sprint;
  25. they bill the Sprint $15/month fee on the bill I get for usage, and a
  26. credit appears simultaneously.  I pay the $5/month to Pac*Bell. This
  27. gives you a real 800 number, and not one of those bogus "call this 800
  28. number and then dial this extra code" crapola.

  30. I get the listing of callers (with phone number, city, date, time and
  31. length of call) in my personal 800 Sprint bill.

  33. My only gripe is that my number is either very close to someone else's
  34. number, or was recycled too soon, because I get bills with calls that
  35. weren't authorized (I know this because I've not given out the number
  36. to anyone ... I use it myself for one specific purpose). The total
  37. cost of these calls has been less than $0.15 over the past few months,
  38. so this isn't a big deal for me ... but it might be for someone else.
