- How do I interrupt cisco when I have inadvertently typed in an incorrect name.
-
- Example:
-
- cc-tip>mistake
- Translating "MISTAKE"...domain server (128.135.12.73)...name server
- (128.135.12.73) (128.135.4.2)
- % Unknown command or computer name, or unable to find computer address
-
- Depending on how busy the system is and how many name servers are checked
- this can take quite a while.
-
- The usual suspects (control C, control D) don't seem to do anything.
-
- Thanks for the help,
-
