  28. There is, however, competition in the TA market. I am a graduate student
  29. working on the the S/W protocol for an IBM PC TA card for BRI access that
  30. will sell for between $89 and $200 depending on whether you want D, B, or
  31. 2B +D, or all the above and CODEC capabilities. It probably won't be done
  32. until next summer but the hardware exists.

  34. With the CODEC your PC functions as your complete TA and becomes an ISDN
  35. "phone".

  37. So just stick around, the prices will come down eventually.
