  18. To me, too.  Gee, I thought that the telcos had all heard about float-charged
  19. batteries.  Especially since they own millions of dollars' worth of them.  A
  20. simple law requiring a $5.00 battery for your $200.00 phone is not too
  21. much to ask, IMHO.  (Come to think of it, why don't the manufacturers put the
  22. battery in the phone to begin with?  It's not as though there will be *any*
  23. customer who won't need one.)
