  28. I ran DOS waffle on a Tandy XT, then added a 286 'accelerator' caard,
  29. then on a 386-33 no-name and hd no troubles with econobuy 1200,2400,
  30. and 14.4kb modems under DOS.

  39. you have to get the 'CARRIER' messages off as per your modem manufacturer's
  40. docs regardless of DOS vs. unix...

  45.   never be able to get rid of DOS...anybody got a Quicken-for-X11R5 ???
