  20. Hmm.. no, it's not configurable. I run it immediately after unbatching
  21. news, before anyone has a chance to get in and read the articles, and
  22. most importantly, BEFORE BATCHING. Thus, say comp.bbs.waffle has 156
  23. articles in the directory.. you unbatch in another 50 articles or so,
  24. and then weed out duplicates. There is no way possible to have anything
  25. less than 156 articles left when done. (Except maybe the first time the
  26. program is run for a given directory) And, the first occurance of the
  27. article is always the one kept, so it doesn't screw up batching. The
  28. join pointers should be ok as well, as any duplicates are going to be
  29. numbered higher than the last read messages anyway.
