  21. This is a GOOD cheap shot. For years the NDP has been advertising itself
  22. as the "people's" party. It is a completely phoney tag that they put on
  23. their posters to make people think they really care.

  25. Deep down, the NDP wants to replace the existing economic relationship
  26. of so-called rich and poor with an even MORE over-legislated country where
  27. the state controls all the levers and the people have nothing.

  29. If you want to tear down the system of masters and slaves, dump the NDP and
  30. propose the tearing down of legislation against free speech, small business,
  31. excessive taxation, duplication of federal power, and the craven power
  32. seeking party cronies in Ottawa (of ALL 3 parties, plus of course Uncle
  33. Preston). Social activism that involves levels of government is ultimately
  34. a waste of money (has all those $billions REALLY helped Atlantic Canada).

  40. No. This is the ultimate sign of truth for the party. They want to LEAD 
  41. people down the garden path of (moderated) socialist ideology instead of
  42. telling government to get of ALL the people's backs (no matter HOW unpopular
  43. it is... that's right, tell the churches to f**k off when they oppose Sunday
  44. shopping). And they use the same populist rhetoric that good old Goebbles
  45. fed Germans (we CARE for the people, yes we do).

  54. 100% agreed. Tear down state-protected capitalism and replace it with free
  55. enterprise. Tear down state-supported socialism and replace it with the
  56. good will of real people. When both these systems go (Canada is a mixed
  57. system - half state capitalism, half state socialism) then there will no
  58. longer be rich and poor, slaves and slave owners.
  59. Canada will be at long last free!
