- I'm impressed. He was less impressive during the Gulf War. Thats when
- I lost interest in what he had to say about anything. He *seemed* to be
- towing the usual anti-US CBC line.

-
- Who said anything about hero-worshipping paranoia?
-
- I think the biggest problem with the V & H [aside from the factual
- errors] is the way the CBC presented it with no chance of rebuttal.
-
- This whole debate should have taken place on the CBC after each
- episode was broadcast. Let McKenna present his side, and let
- dissenters present theirs. Whats wrong with that?
-
- The CBC is supposed to represent all Canadians, and on an issue that
- is so painful for veterans, their voice should have been heard.
-
- Why was the CBC so incapable of reserving time for debating this issue
- at the time? If it wasn't for the Senate Committee and the Veterans
- groups we wouldn't be having this debate and you wouldn't be calling
- me names [at least not on this issue]
-
- Maybe McKenna was right on some of his more outrageous claims,
- but why shouldn't he have to defend them at the time in front of
- comparable sized audiences?
-
- >(Did you even know that Gwynne Dyer is a veteran?)
-
- Which war?
