- I would lke some information from the experts...I know that you can all
- help me. I will be receiving my MS in biometry in May of 1993. I am
- now faced with two possibilities: getting a job or going on for a PhD.
- My interest lies in consulting, the people part of the job as well as the
- statistics part. I have experience in pharmaceuticals and agriculture
- related fields. Now, is where you can help me:
-
- 1. Do you recommend working for awhile (time?) before going on for a
- higher degree? Di you wish you had or hadn't?
-
- 2. Where did you get your PhD? Do you recommend it to others? Do you
- know of a preferred school?
-
-
- I am still weighing the issues as to what to do. I don't really care for
- the theory...though I know it is necessary...I much prefer the applied
- side of statistics. Please help me out by providing information.
-
- Thanks,
-
