  11. I would lke some information from the experts...I know that you can all
  12. help me.  I will be receiving my MS in biometry in May of 1993.  I am
  13. now faced with two possibilities:  getting a job or going on for a PhD.
  14. My interest lies in consulting, the people part of the job as well as the
  15. statistics part.  I have experience in pharmaceuticals and agriculture
  16. related fields.  Now, is where you can help me:

  18. 1.  Do you recommend working for awhile (time?) before going on for a
  19. higher degree?  Di you wish you had or hadn't?
  20.  
  21. 2.  Where did you get your PhD?  Do you recommend it to others?  Do you
  22. know of a preferred school?

  25. I am still weighing the issues as to what to do.  I don't really care for
  26. the theory...though I know it is necessary...I much prefer the applied
  27. side of statistics.  Please help me out by providing information.
