- I'm running SAS 6.07.01 on an IBM RS/6000 using AIX version 3.1.
-
- I need to write a graph to a file on the Unix system, FTP the file to the
- local MS-DOS operating system, then bring the graph into Aldus Pagemaker 4.0
- for Windows.
-
- I know how to write a file and get it to DOS, but I have no idea how to get
- the graph into Pagemaker.
-
- I spoke with SAS Institute and they suggested using HP7470 or HP7475 device
- drivers (HP graphics plotters), but I can't seem to tell Pagemaker how to
- handle the graphics. Pagemaker expects a .PCX, .TIF file or a few other
- comman MS-DOS filetypes which SAS doesn't have drivers for. I have zero
- experience with Pagemaker and the Pagemaker manuals are not a lot of help.
-
- I have tried encapsulated postscript, but all I got was a big grey box with
- Time: and a few other things written in the corner.
-
- If anyone out there has had experience bringing SAS graphics into a Pagemaker
- document, please let me know how you did it. I'd rather not get out the
- scissors and scotch tape, if I can avoid it!
