- It's not that the renegade Windows apps have a mind of their own when it
- comes to positioning themselves on the desktop (both place and size); it's
- just that they aren't smart enough to remember. For such apps, you'll need
- an external app that will do the remembering for them. In SIMTEL20 (and
- its mirror sites), you'll find in directory WINDOWS3 a program caled
- (caled=called) SIZER110.ZIP (23598 bytes). What you have to do with this,
- if memory serves, is run the sizer program minimized, load the offending
- app, resize and position it where you would like it to be for future
- sessions, and then call upon sizer again and fill in the blanks. I may
- be wrong on the exact procedure, but documentation is included to help
- you along. That's the only sizer program I could find at SIMTEL20.
- Another excellent place to look for Windows programs is FTP.CICA.INDIANA.EDU
- (129.79.20.84) where the selection is often superior.
