- I originally sent this to the SAS discussion list (SAS-L), but there
- hasn't been much in the way of response; The dataset I refer to is
- distributed with SAS 6.07, and would have a name like "something.BAMISC"
- I was curious as to whether other sites were using this and any problems
- they might have encountered. It seems to work, and allows an easier
- way of specifying multivolume datasets than is described in _Companion_
- _to_MVS_ .... I can't say this will be of interest to the entire List;
- I will prepare a summary of replies. Thanks,

- Problem: Using SASMULTF from the BAMISC PDS.
- Version: 6.07
- OP/SYS: MVS

- Hello Net,
- Have any sites used SASMULTF? (an Assembly program delivered with
- SAS, will allow you to specify multiple disks (ie UNIT=(SYSDA,3) )
- for version 6 files ... will work with SMS. ). I've been been doing
- some tests and it looks pretty good, but I was wondering what other
- sites thought ... problems? Any comments on the other members of this
- dataset, ESSL, for example?
