  149.  I spent several hours looking for the answer to this question.  I read all the
  150.  relevant Usenet groups and their FAQs (rec.food, rec.food.restaurants,
  151.  rec.food.veg, soc.culture.mexican, alt.restaurants...).  I also searched for
  152.  Gophers in Massachusetts.  I could only find one - an experimental server at
  153.  the University of Massachusetts, but I found nothing helpful there.  I
  154.  used Archie to look for files matching keywords such as "mexican,"
  155.  "restaurants," "cambridge," "massachusetts," "jose" etc.  Also searched the
  156.  archives of several Bitnet lists.

  252.  who does the celestial mechanics course.  Go to that person and
  253.  ask your question.  Of course that doesn't use the internet, so I

  255.  white pages, and then ask for the referal from the secretary, and
  256.  then mail him/her with the question, if you wanted to involve the
  257. internet that is.

  267. (Rick: I tried out tides162.zip, a program written in QuickBasic in
  268. 1989 by an Edward P. Wallner.  The program seems to work well for some
  269. stations on the East Coast of the U.S., and should work as well with
  270. West Coast stations.  The catch is that you need to find historic
  271. tidal data for these stations.  Mr. Wallner lists sites that can
  272. provide you with this information.  Perhaps coupled with the first
  273. answer on data from the USGS, one could solve this problem.  However,
  274. there does not appear to be a simple table on file, and in fact, such
  275. a table is only useful for short term predictions of perhaps less than
  276. 200 days.)
