- As DEC begins charging for CSLG portfolios, it should be kind to customers
- that have VMS, ULTRIX, and ALPHA. The complexity of this period in time
- of DEC operating systems is difficult already, and has a cost to users.
- If DEC can somehow slide ALPHA in with VMS/ULTRIX for TEI, and not make it
- a separate cost portfolio for those already in one or the other of the
- VMS/ULTRIX portfolios, it would spread joy through the community and ease
- the other pains of transition.
- It would also be nice to know how ConDist and OLD are going to work for
- ALPHA versus VMS and Ultrix.
