  12. As DEC begins charging for CSLG portfolios, it should be kind to customers
  13. that have VMS, ULTRIX, and ALPHA.  The complexity of this period in time
  14. of DEC operating systems is difficult already, and has a cost to users.
  15. If DEC can somehow slide ALPHA in with VMS/ULTRIX for TEI, and not make it
  16. a separate cost portfolio for those already in one or the other of the
  17. VMS/ULTRIX portfolios, it would spread joy through the community and ease
  18. the other pains of transition.
  19.      It would also be nice to know how ConDist and OLD are going to work for
  20. ALPHA versus VMS and Ultrix.
