  17. That sounds like a fairly bad policy -- of course it won;t matter if DEC
  18. changes that part of the TEI dramatically but it if it continues then it
  19. would seem rather pointless to require useless phone support to just get
  20. media.  One may well find it cheaper to join the current ESL for minimal
  21. systems jhust to get the CDroms then.

  23. Although not worth the effort I also suspect the legal theory from the TAB card
  24. case which forced IBM to unbundle a useful thing from a useless thing might
  25. also apply, unless the sourt decides that you shoudl just dump DEC and buy say
  26. SUN (or HP or IBM.)
