- That sounds like a fairly bad policy -- of course it won;t matter if DEC
- changes that part of the TEI dramatically but it if it continues then it
- would seem rather pointless to require useless phone support to just get
- media. One may well find it cheaper to join the current ESL for minimal
- systems jhust to get the CDroms then.

- Although not worth the effort I also suspect the legal theory from the TAB card
- case which forced IBM to unbundle a useful thing from a useless thing might
- also apply, unless the sourt decides that you shoudl just dump DEC and buy say
- SUN (or HP or IBM.)
