- Since you are a Biology student and interested working in a lab, one the best
- place in the Washington Metropolitan you may want to try is the National
- Institutes of Health in Bethesda Maryland. In NIH, there are usually many
- bio-aide positions. As a full time student, you could be employed under
- a Stay-In-School program else you could be under a Summer Programm. My best
- advise to you is to call them up ask them about the above program and have
- them sent brochures/info to your address. Recently there is a 'freeze' in the
- federal system; however, don't be discouraged.
-
- Call this number 301-496-4943 (National Library of Medicine's personnel number)
- and ask them for the main personnel phone number in building 31. They should
- know what you are talking about if you mention to them about the STAY-IN-SCHOOL
- or SUMMER program. Best luck to you.
