- that may not be the problem. I have 4 serial ports, two on the multi-i/o
- card, and 2 extra on another serial card. I run my mouse on com1 and my
- modem on com3, and they both share the same IRQ, and they both work fine
- together. What type of software are you using, and when does it lock up?
- Give some more details like this, and I'll try to help.
