  16. that may not be the problem. I have 4 serial ports, two on the multi-i/o
  17. card, and 2 extra on another serial card. I run my mouse on com1 and my
  18. modem on com3, and they both share the same IRQ, and they both work fine
  19. together. What type of software are you using, and when does it lock up?
  20. Give some more details like this, and I'll try to help.
