- Did you *really* expect a box-office hit to be an accurate adaptation of the
- book??????????? I, for one, loved the film, and I really enjoyed the way FFC
- worked in other vampire legends. You didn't like the fact that Dracula had a
- wife-- did you notice that she was named Elizabetha? A reference to Elizabeth
- Bathory, perhaps? And you say that only Dracul was a member of the Order of
- the Dragon-- I think (I could be wrong) that Dracula was involved with them as
- well. At least, he did fight the Turks. And I liked laughing at Van Helsing,
- just as I did while reading The Dracula Tapes. I think FCC showed real talent
- in working in different stuff. Open your mind up a bit more, and remember,
- the movie is *never* like the book. Never has and never will be.
