  15. In regard to the three female vampires, we meet them one more time in the book
  16. when Van Helsing and Mina are in Transylvania near Dracula's castle. Van
  17. Helsing has protected himself and Mina (who is becoming more and more vampiric)
  18. by a ring of host (communion wafer) and the three come and try to tempt Mina
  19. and Van Helsing to come out of the circle. They don't go, of course.

  21. I am glad that you, too, think that the book says that Dracula wanted to use
  22. Mina as revenge.  Also, I agree that Mina is a strong woman in the novel and
  23. that's why she survives.
