- In regard to the three female vampires, we meet them one more time in the book
- when Van Helsing and Mina are in Transylvania near Dracula's castle. Van
- Helsing has protected himself and Mina (who is becoming more and more vampiric)
- by a ring of host (communion wafer) and the three come and try to tempt Mina
- and Van Helsing to come out of the circle. They don't go, of course.

- I am glad that you, too, think that the book says that Dracula wanted to use
- Mina as revenge. Also, I agree that Mina is a strong woman in the novel and
- that's why she survives.
