  14. according to the book on the film (with script and stills), the
  15. whole movie was shot on soundstages. an interesting idea, if only
  16. it had worked.
  17. imho, the best thing in the film was tom waits as renfield, even
  18. though ffc managed to obscure half his dialogue with extraneous
  19. sound.
  20. so very, very disappointing.
